Payment Options
To provide greater payment convenience, several options are available for membership dues and in-camp invoices as outlined below.
Payments via Square
A processing fee of 2.9% applies when a card is presented in the Manager’s Office, and 3.6% applies to payments processed over the phone.
Please note : As of 2026, Square applies an additional 1.5% international transaction fee to all non-Canadian cards.
Tipping
The kitchen staff and outside personnel are in camp to make your stay enjoyable. A tip of 15-20% of the board bill is considered reasonable and appropriate. Upon request, the Manager can distribute tips according to your wishes. Tipping is accepted in cash only, with both Canadian and U.S. currency welcomed.
Membership Dues
Membership dues can be paid via check to Club Lac Pythonga drawn on either a Canadian or US bank account for the full balance due (no exchange conversion will be given).Payments may be made with a credit/debit card via Square (service fees apply) or Interac e-Transfer (see below).Payments via Square

Interac Payments
For members with Canadian bank accounts:
- Interac e-transfer payments can be made to Service Choco with Erica’s email address: erica.stjean@outlook.fr
- Interac e-transfer payments can be made to the Club with email address: pythonga@gmail.com
Please ensure that both recipients have been added to your list of approved contacts prior to arriving in camp, as this process can take several days depending on your financial institution.
For members without Canadian bank accounts:
Many members have successfully used the Wise App as a convenient payment option.
To get started, download the app and create a free personal account. During setup, you will be asked to verify your identity (using a driver’s license or passport) and link a payment method such as a bank account, debit, or credit card. Please note that fees may vary depending on the payment method you choose. Payments will be made via the Interac e-transfer selection within the app.
Before arriving in camp, you must add both the Club and Service Choco as Interac recipients in your Wise account. This step can take several days to process, depending on your financial institution, so it is important to complete it in advance and confirm everything is functioning properly prior to making payments in camp.
Please also note that Interac has a maximum 24-hour transfer limit of $4,000 CAD. If your invoice is expected to exceed this amount, payment may need to be completed over multiple days. To allow sufficient time, please request your bill from Erica several days prior to your departure so that multiple payments can be arranged if necessary.
